Every teacher at Sabeel is a graduate of Al-Azhar, holds an Ijazah with a Sanad in Quran recitation, and is trained specifically in teaching non-native speakers not just reciting well, but explaining clearly to someone starting from zero. All are native Arabic speakers who also speak fluent English, so nothing gets lost between the lesson and the student.

Sabeel Academy exists because learning to recite well is not something a recording can teach you. It needs someone listening.
Every class is live and one to one. There are no group sessions and no video library to work through alone. Just a teacher, a student, and an hour set aside for it.
We teach families across many countries and timezones. Class times are agreed with you and shown in your own local time, and the teacher sees the same lesson in theirs.

Is there a registration fee?
No. You only pay for the classes themselves — nothing else.
Is the first class really free?
Yes, completely — no card required, and no obligation to continue afterwards.
Will I keep the same teacher every week?
Yes. Every student is matched with one teacher who stays with them, so progress carries from lesson to lesson.
Do I need to know Arabic already to join?
No. Most students start with no Arabic at all. We begin from the alphabet if needed, and every course is paced to where the student actually is — not where they're expected to be.
I'm not sure which course is right — how do I choose?

How long is a class?
You choose: 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes, whatever suits the student and the goal.
What do we need to join a class?
A phone, tablet, or computer, with a working camera and clear audio — that's all.
Can we choose the class times?
Yes, you pick the time that works for you, shown in your own timezone.
How do we know how the student is doing?
You'll get a short report after every class, plus a fuller monthly summary of progress.
What if we need to miss a class?
Let us know at least 3 hours before the class and we'll reschedule it for you.
What if we're not happy after we start?
